Inaugural talk

A sell out talk in The Forum, Norwich, with the support of the Buxton family we are able to present a recording of Dr Alison Dow's talk so everybody can hear her bringing to life the story behind this plaque.

Alison looks at the life of Thomas Fowell Buxton and the Norfolk and Norwich community that inspired him and supported him though the brutal, decades-long Parliamentary battle that led finally to the end of slavery throughout the British Empire.
